Diagnostic Medical Sonography
With our unique approach to Ultrasound Education, you can combine your Bachelor’s degree with our Diagnostic General Sonography program to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Sonography and become a desirable candidate for positions in the field of Ultrasound. Our hybrid program is designed especially for you and combines digital and internet technologies with hands-on training both in our lab and in a clinical facility near you.
Our program focuses on one of the most in-demand application areas of sonography, the General focus, which includes both Abdominal and Obstetric and Gynecological applications as well as exposure to Vascular Ultrasound, the third most common use of the technology.
Your Ultrasound Education is closer than you think …
- Classes start frequently so that you can get started right away
- Theory classes are as close as your personal computer
- Focused lab classes require you to be on site just a few days per month
- Clinical training is held in a real-life setting close to where you work or live
There is little better than the feeling that comes from knowing that what you do for a living actually makes a difference. Diagnostic Medical Sonographers know that feeling. Physicians recommend Ultrasounds as a diagnostic tool. Sonographers are specially trained to provide studies to physicians that enable them to diagnose health issues and treat them appropriately, or provide patients the comfort of knowing everything is okay. Every study performed and every patient is an achievement for the Sonographer in helping others.
