The Diploma in Personal Fitness Training prepares students for entry-level positions in the exciting field of Personal Fitness. The Personal Fitness Training program requires a person that is self-disciplined, dedicated to helping others, and have a passion for fitness and healthy living. Interior Design
The Associate of Applied Business Degree in Interior Design prepares students for jobs in this challenging and exciting profession. It is a field of great creativity whereby all types of interior spaces can be manipulated or altered to form stimulating and functional areas in which to live, work and play. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level employment as freelance designers, design studio or design service consultants and design sales representatives. Job projects can be residential, commercial or institutional. Working environments range from department and furniture stores, design centers, art and accessory dealerships, architectural firms, construction firms, showrooms and large corporations, and film industry set design. An extensive course of instruction is necessary for entering this expanding profession. Educational emphasis is placed on the ability to express clients’ wishes through space usage and color, shape, texture and fit of furnishings.

Graduates will be prepared for entry-level employment as payroll clerks, accounts receivable specialists and income tax clerks. With additional work experience and/or training, they may qualify for advancement to such positions as account managers, accountants and finance managers.

The Associate of Applied Business Degree in Legal Assisting emphasizes software proficiency, business skills and basic legal classes. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level employment in positions such as legal assistants and administrative assistants in a legal environment. The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Health Information Technology-Medical Coding prepares students for careers in the ever-changing medical records profession. Students gain more in-depth knowledge of medical coding through intense, hands-on courses in addition to a medical coding externship. Graduates will be prepared for employment as professional coders in hospitals, physicians’ offices, outpatient care centers, insurance firms and public health departments.
