Nursing at Dallas Nursing Institute
Dallas Nursing Institute’s certificate in Nursing prepares graduates to pass the NCLEX-PN and practice as a nurse. Students will study patient assessment and care, body growth and development, nursing procedures, medical terminology, and medical administration. Licensed nurses are eligible for employment in a variety of health care settings including hospitals, nursing homes, doctors’ offices, home health agencies, and correctional facilities.

The goal of our program is to provide each student with the skills and knowledge necessary to optimize the health and wellness of their patients. In addition to learning how to take care of patients physically, students also learn to treat patients with the dignity and respect that all individuals deserve and desire. By the end of the program, graduates will be trained professionals that are able to predict, plan, and implement comprehensive care plans for patients. Graduates will also meet eligibility requirements for the state licensing exam.
