An article on OnlineCourses.org lists the interesting college majors some of today’s biggest stars have had in their past before making it big.  The article starts by naming basketball star Michael Jordan.  Apparently, he studied cultural geography but never graduated.  He dropped out with just one year left before graduation and the rest is basketball history.  Regis Philbin majored in sociology and comedic actor, Will Ferrel, studied sports broadcasting and sports information.  Before becoming a talk show host, Jay Leno was a speech therapy major at Emerson College and graduated in 1973.  The article continues by reporting that Texas born Eva Longoria earned a degree in kinesiology and actor Forest Whitaker studied opera at the Music Conservatory at the University of Southern California.
